The Sprint Race In Drammen Was Great- See The Photos

Great tracks, nice weather and 40,000 spectators made Thursday’s World Cup sprint race in Drammen, Norway a great event. The racers, coaches and FIS were all very excited.

“Events like this is a great way of promoting cross country skiing. You want to go skiing after watching such a fantastic event” said Norwegian sprint coach Ulf Morten Aune.

The men’s winner Havard Bjerkeli said:

‘The noise level was incredible. But I distance myself and close it out when I race. I really didn’t think about how many people that was here before I skied the victory lap”
