    We’re hanging up our hats (and headbands).

    We’ve had a great time creating fun quality winter headwear for over 10 years but it’s time to move on to new adventures. Owner, Diane Schember is retiring to pursue her passion for bike touring; daughter Paige continues her successful career in the financial sector.

    We would like to thank say a big thank you to our customers. We’ve been fortunate to work with so many awesome athletes, coaches, team captains, parents, booster clubs, event coordinators and retail shop owners. Many have been with us for our entire 11- year run. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the support of our small family business.

    We have had an absolute blast and will miss you.

    The New BeFAST Sub-Zero Neckband

    Our new customer driven design is the perfect Neckband for warmth and protection.
    The dual layer construction provides the same breathable, moisture wicking features as our main Neckband line, but with an extra layer of spandex for protection.

    With a shorter depth of approximately 12” this neckband is perfect for slipping up and down over your mouth when faced with cold, windy conditions, or to protect yourself from breathing in unwanted germs.

    As always with BeFAST, we build our products for performance, but style them with attitude. Several fun prints are sold on our website. Custom orders are available.

    To keep up with fast-paced growth, the team at BeFAST Sportgear has just launched a new website. This new website brings customer usability to the forefront. It features an easy to use format for product search, offers more in-depth product descriptions, and more importantly, provides easy and secure online ordering. Customers can now use Apple Pay to purchase from their mobile device.

    The custom order process has also been upgraded and streamlined, and you can do it on your phone! Whether you have artwork or not, BeFAST team of graphic artists and designers will work quickly to get your team outfitted with great BeFAST products.

  • BeFAST Supplying Custom Headbands for the 2020 Coop FIS Cross Country World Cup

    BeFAST Sportgear has made custom headwear for the hosts of the first World Cup Nordic Ski event hosted on American snow in 19 years. In cooperation with the Loppet Foundation, BeFAST has designed two headbands to be sold for the Minnesota World Cup events to be held at Theodore Wirth Park in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

    Both products are already available for purchase at Boulder Nordic Sport’s newest location in The Trailhead at Theodore Wirth Park. The headbands come in two patterns, one shining silver and the other a heathered blue. Each is customized with two printed logos, one of the Fastenal Parallel 45 Winter Festival and of the FIS World Cup.

    BeFAST has been a growing force in Nordic ski headwear since 2011; and they are honored be a part of this history making event in their home state.

  • BeFAST Sportgear to Provide Headwear for U.S. Cross Country Ski Championships

    The custom headwear company, based out of St. Paul, Minnesota, signed a promotional deal with the host of this year’s Senior National host Michigan Technical University. As a sponsor of the event, BeFAST will be providing each athlete participant a headband from their ever-popular RaceSport Headband line. In addition, the company will be donating knit hats to the 50 volunteers of the event.

    Each hat and headband will be customized with the 2020 logo of the Nationals event hosted in Houghton, Michigan. The headbands have a heat transferred logo, while the hats donated will have an embroidered one. The participants will receive their headband product in a welcome bag.

    Through the BeFAST website, teams or clubs can be set up with their own secure link that allows individual team members to order and pay for their own items.

    BeFAST has always been able to give teams or clubs their own unique look with customized products, but now the process of ordering and paying for product has been streamlined, reducing the team’s stress of counting orders and collecting money.

    Each team order must consist of a minimum of seven of any one product. Included with each team order is one complementary matching coach’s hat or headband.

    BeFAST - NNFPlymouth, MN – BeFAST Sportgear, the maker of high performance Nordic ski headbands and hats, is pleased to announce its fundraising support of the National Nordic Foundation (NNF) through the creation of USA-themed headbands and hats.

    The owners of BeFAST understand that the NNF is paramount to the future of United States Nordic skiing.  They have designed a line of USA spirited products; sales of which provide direct support to the NNF.

    The mission of the National Nordic Foundation is to provide support for the athlete development pipeline of US Cross Country and Nordic Combined skiing.  The NNF accomplishes this development goal through raising funds and distribution to the “Pillar Projects” that serve the next generation of athletes who represent the U.S. on the world stage.

    The NNF funds development of skiers from the junior level through the Olympics.  The owners of BeFAST believe that without NNF support, many U.S. Nordic athletes would not get a chance to compete.  Its strong financial support for the development of competitive athletes is paramount to our Olympic team.

    With the upcoming Olympics in Sochi, Russia, BeFAST hopes that the new USA headbands and USA hats will promote support of our nation’s athletes of all ages.

    BeFAST Sportgear debuted many new headband fabrics and a new HAT at the Rendezvous Ski Festival in West Yellowstone this November. People were excited to see new choices in our very comfortable and high performance headbands. Our BeFAST Hat offers the same BeFAST style and performance, while providing a little more warmth.

    The BeFAST crew in Minnesota is now busy working fast and furiously to get teams outfitted with some custom designed attitude.
