  • ONE WAY Sport USA Signs Kyle Bratrud and Ben Lustgarten

    ONE WAY Sport USA is pleased to announce the signing of athletes Kyle Bratrud and Ben Lustgarten to the ONE WAY Sport team.  Both athletes will be skiing with the Premio HD and new Premio SLG 10 poles for the upcoming season.

    Kyle skis out of Marquette, MI. with the CXC Elite ski team as he prepares for US Supertour events.  When asked why he approached ONE WAY to supply poles for this next season, Kyle informed us, “My roommate skis with ONE WAY poles and I have seen the service and support he has been given.  I’ve had a chance to test the poles and they’re the perfect combination of light weight, light swing weight, stiffness, and durability, that every skier is looking for.”

    Ben has recently moved back to his native Vermont to ski for the Craftsbury Green Racing Team, a team that ONE WAY Sport USA already has an existing relationship with. Ben had been previously skiing for the Sun Valley Team.  Ben chose ONE WAY because in his words, “ONE WAY has one of the lightest, and the strongest poles on the market. I had used ONE WAY through high school and college and am excited to ski with the Premio HD and SLG 10 which have earned a great reputation.”

  • ONE WAY Sport USA Hires New Representative for Rocky Mountains

    ONE WAY Sport USA is pleased to announce the hiring of a new Independent Representative for the Rocky Mountain region. Joel Sehloff comes to us from the Midwest where he was a Nordic racer and cyclist, having worked retail in a bicycle shop in his hometown, transitioning to another Nordic/cycling shop in Park City, Utah after graduation from college. Joel has an infectious enthusiasm for both sports and will be an important addition to the ONE WAY Sport USA team. Joel joins Mike Lundeen in the Midwest market and Jeff Winnick in the Northeast as key representatives for ONE WAY Sport USA.

    ONE WAY Sport USA is dedicated to our growth in the Nordic and cycling markets and will pay a finder’s fee for a successful referral of an Independent Representative in any of our open markets.

  • ONE WAY Enjoys Success at American Birkebeiner

    ONE WAY Sport USA came away from the 2015 American Birkebeiner feeling even more excited for the future. American athletes Torin Koos and Thomas Seidel finished 2nd and 3rd in the 54k Classic race on their ONE WAY Sport poles in a near photo finish as all podium positions finished within seconds of each other.

    In the 50k Skate race, Mathias Wibault of the Haute-Savoie Nordic Team finished fourth place overall. Mathias was just seconds off the podium in an exciting four way sprint to the finish. Mathias skis on ONE WAY Sport Premio HD skis and Premio HD poles.

    The ONE WAY Premio HD ski has received great reviews at the SIA on-snow, West Yellowstone, and other local demos. Its new design this season includes a high-density honeycomb core for improved stability and a more forward camber pocket to facilitate climbing.

    One Way Sport USA is pleased to announce the re-signing of US Ski Team athlete Jessie Diggins. Jessie was recently renamed to the US Ski Team-A Group, after yet another successful year on the World Cup and at the Sochi Olympics. When asked why Jessie chooses to continue her racing career with One Way Sport using Premio HD poles she said, “I want to use poles that I know are strong and light, that I can have confidence in while training and racing. I want to know on race day that I am using the best equipment out there. That’s why I re-signed with One Way.” One Way is excited to continue working with Jessie and we look forward to cheering her on from the US offices.

    This summer is coming huge for ONE WAY as the 2 times Olympic Champion Charlotte Kalla is switching to ONE WAY PREMIO HD poles.

    One of the strongest athletes in today’s cross-country world, Charlotte Kalla, has been constantly showing up with the top-notch performance in various cross-country events and disciplines.  Starting with her Tour de Ski debut in 2007 where she claimed the overall victory Kalla has been consistent in delivering at the high level throughout the 4-year Olympic cycle. Her top results came in the 2010 Vancouver Games 10 km freestyle event, followed by the gold in 2011 Oslo World Championships team sprint and the relay gold in 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics, not to mention numerous podiums in these events.

  • OneWay: Torin Koos Wins US National Skate Sprint Title

    ONE WAY SPORT USA is excited to congratulate Torin Koos on his victory yesterday in the US National Cross-Country Championships – Freestyle Sprint.  When asked what this victory meant for him Torin replied, “This is a great way to start the championships as it is an important step in an Olympic year”.

    ONE WAY SPORT has debuted a new pole on the World Cup for the upcoming Olympics, the Premio HD.  This pole is 5% lighter, 15% stronger and the center of gravity has been moved up 10cm to give the pole a lighter swing weight.  Torin chooses ONE WAY poles because in his words, “they are the lightest and stiffest poles and ideal for sprinting, I haven’t ever broken a pole in competition”.

    One Way Sport Finland is pleased to announce their extensive line of products for the Nordic athlete are being imported and distributed by Lifelong Sports LLC dba ONE WAY Sport USA.  ONE WAY Sport USA is owned and operated by Geoff Hurwitch who has extensive experience in the Nordic industry as former Product Manager for both Rossignol Ski Company and Karhu North America.  With over twelve years working for manufacturers, in addition to his experience having started other successful businesses, Geoff looks forward to expanding ONE WAY Sports’ product offering in the US marketplace.
