    (Press release)

    Campaign: TeamUp

NDC Thunder Bay is very grateful that Robbie Craig has Teamed Up with us to raise funds by creating this Nordic-inspired original piece of art for this campaign. We have been given the honor to name it, “The Rhythm of Winter.” Those who enjoy the outdoors will be inspired by this one of kind 18″ x 24″ acrylic painting, and the opportunity could be yours to hang it in your home, office, ski chalet or club house.

Your chance to win ‘The Rhythm of Winter” is simple. Visit www.teamupndc.com or at the kiosk during Ski Nationals in Thunder Bay, and with each $5 contribution your name will be entered in the draw.  The winner of the painting will be announced on April 1st, 2015.

In addition, we want to share this unique artwork with as many people as possible, and therefore have made it available in limited quantity prints,  5 x 7″ ($15 plus $5 shipping) and 12 x 15″ ($45 plus $15 shipping).  It would also make a wonderful gift for a family member, your ski friends, an athlete, or a coach.

  • Thunder Bay Launches ‘TeamUp’ Fundraiser

The Thunder Bay National Development Center (NDC) recently launched a fundraising initiative/website called “TeamUp!“ in an effort to support its 10 athletes training out of Thunder Bay, Ontario.

“We have an exciting new fundraising initiative starting here at the National Team Development Centre in Thunder Bay,” TeamUp Director Erin Tribe wrote in a statement. “We would like to get the incredible community excited about our athletes, our team, and our goals. We want to reach YOU, and all who support and believe in our athletes, to help them reach athletic excellence and make the leaps and bounds we know they are capable of. I invite you to view our Make A Champ page, located under the ‘Donor’ tab, check out the great prizes and rewards available on the Home page. While the athletes are hard at work becoming the best athletes they can be, we ask for your support in helping them get there.”

As of Thursday morning, the campaign had reached 50 percent of its goal, with $7450 raised and 26 days remaining. For more information, visit www.teamupndc.com.
